Back Creek Taxidermy is owned and operated by Eddie Johnson and is convenient for all of the piedmont/triad area, located just 2 miles off hwy 64W in Asheboro, North Carolina. I am able to arrange shipping or delivery for anyone not located in the piedmont/triad area. Like alot of other taxidermist I started out 8 years ago doing taxidermy as a hobby and after completing a 2 year taxidermy program at Randolph Community College in Archdale, NC. I am a NC Licensed taxidermist.
I have went on to study with some of the the best taxidermist in the state thru one on one training, seminars, and competing in state and national competitions. I am firmly dedicated to the art of taxidermy, and producing mounts that are as lifelike as possible. My shop is located at the home I share with my wife Debbie, and my daughter Jasmine which allows me to keep my prices reasonable, and have a quicker turn around time than some of my competitors (average 6 to 8 months).

At Back Creek Taxidermy I specialize in mammals, fish (skin and reproduction mounts), and non-migratory birds, all available with natural or custom habitats.
